How Travis Godec turned a hobby into TJG Web Design
Growing up, I was always on the computer. From the early days of Napster to hand-built HTML pages, I was chasing the next cool thing I could make a screen do. I spent 10 seasons as a professional baseball umpire, working my way up to Triple-A, and earned my Information Technology degree from Arizona State University along the way. For my senior project I combined umpiring with my long-time hobby of web design, and that deep dive pulled me into digital marketing for good.
The work ethic came from home. My dad ran a garage door business, and he taught me that hard work and your reputation are your best marketing. I built TJG Web Design on that lesson: do the work, keep it personal, and let the results speak.
